Deep Blue winterising algicide is an effective, economical treatment designed specifically for winter pool care. A single 1-liter dose can keep algae under control in a 50 cubic meter (11,000-gallon) pool for 3 to 6 months. Thanks to its slow-release formula, it provides lasting protection through the colder months, when algae tends to be more persistent.

For the best results, it is important to follow the instructions when using Deep Blue winterising algicide. It works against most algae types typically seen in pools over winter. Note that it is pH sensitive and should only be applied to pool water within the pH range of 7.2 to 7.6. To avoid a chemical reaction, do not add chlorine within 24 hours before or after using Deep Blue winterising algicide.

This versatile product suits both chlorinated and brominated pools, making it a convenient option regardless of your setup. It should be noted that Deep Blue winterising algicide is not suitable for pools treated with Revacil/Baquacil

3. Directly apply the necessary amount of Deep Blue winterising algicide over the water inlets and allow the filter system to run for 8 hours to evenly distribute the product throughout the pool.
4. Monitor your pool in January and adjust the chlorine level back to 6 ppm to maintain a healthy pool environment.

DIRECTIONS FOR WINTER CLOSE DOWN OF YOUR POOL

1. Increase the chlorine level in your pool to approximately 6ppm(parts per million).

3. Pour the required amount of Deep Blue winterising algicide directly over the water inlets and leave filter plant running for 8 hours to ensure even distribution.
4. Check your pool in January and increase chlorine level to 6ppm.
