Hot Tub Shock Treatment

Hot tubs need shocking more often than pools because bather load is high relative to water volume. Non-chlorine shock is the usual choice – it burns off the combined chlorine or bromine that causes cloudy water and odour, and lets the tub be used again shortly afterwards rather than waiting hours.
