Description

The 25Kg size of Pool Shock Chlorine Granules.

Step into the world of Deep Blue Pro Granular Shock, where sparkling pool water is only a treatment away. These calcium hypochlorite granules pack an impressive 70% available chlorine level, resolving pool water issues fast. Algae infestations disappear, replaced by clean, inviting water thanks to Granular Shock Chlorine.

Consider the aftermath of a thunderstorm: nitrogen washed into the pool can turn the water an unappealing green. This is where Deep Blue Pro Granular Shock proves its worth. A prompt dose of these granules, whether Granular Shock Granules or Shock ‘n’ Floc Granules, guards your pool against algae blooms following a storm.

It helps to understand the application instructions so you get full value from these granules. Maintaining the correct pH and keeping to the recommended free chlorine residual range are both essential steps toward pristine pool water. Pre-dissolve the granules, add the solution to your pool, and allow the filtration pump to clear any temporary cloudiness in its own time.

When it comes to dosing rates, the table above shows the amounts required for various water volumes, helping you judge how much product achieves your target chlorine increase. Having exact measurements available makes dosing your pool simple and reliable.

Handling these powerful granules calls for care. Stick to the general precautions: wear protective gear while dosing and store the product somewhere cool and dry. This Granular Shock is a serious product, built from Calcium Hypochlorite 70% CL Active, a strong performer against pool contaminants.

As with any strong product, it pays to understand the risks involved. Fire hazards and harm if swallowed mean correct handling and storage cannot be skipped. Store these granules securely, keep them from children, and always check the safety guidance for trouble-free pool cleaning.

Ultimately, Deep Blue Pro Granular Shock does more than treat pool water, it resolves ongoing maintenance frustrations. These granules help you achieve clean, clear water with confidence. Trust their effectiveness, stick closely to the application instructions, and enjoy a pool that is always ready for a swim. Deep Blue Pro Granular Shock remains a dependable choice for pristine pool water.

Manufacturers description:

Deep Blue Pro Granular Shock – A traditional shock treatment product, these calcium hypochlorite granules have an available chlorine level of on average 70% making them a good chlorine donor for pool water problem solving.
Granular Shock Chlorine is very effective at restoring sparkling water from algae infestation.
Granular Shock Chlorine can be added through the skimmer.

Top Tip:As soon as possible after a thunderstorm shock dose your pool with a 5mg/l dose of Deep Blue Pro Granular Shock Granules or Shock ‘n’ Floc Granules.
The reason for this is that lightening creates nitrogen in the atmosphere and the rain washes this nitrogen into your pool. Nitrogen is plant food and algae thrive on it, so pool water can quickly turn green after a thunderstorm, a shock dose of chlorine can help prevent this.

Application Instructions:1. Maintain pH levels within the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6. If the level is not in this range, adjust accordingly.
2. Maintain free chlorine residuals routinely in the 1 – 3 mg/l (ppm) range. Shock or oxidising procedures are recommended either weekly or fortnightly with a maximum of 10mg/l (10ppm) for a full shock treatment.
3. Pre-dissolve this product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons ( 10 litres) of water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Add the resulting solution to the pool whilst the pump is turned ON preferably near the water inlets to aid distribution.
4. Repeat dose/application if necessary to achieve the desired level.
5. After using this product, pool water may become temporarily cloudy, so keep the filtration pump running until it clears.
6. After shock treatment procedures allow the chlorine to drop below 5ppm before bathing recommences and in any event wait for at least 30 minutes before bathing recommences.
