Description

Sold here as the 10Kg size.

Widely used to keep swimming pool water safe and free of bacteria, these chlorine tablets are stabilised against chlorine loss from sunlight and release their chlorine gradually over 3-5 days, depending on how much water flows past them.nnnnUse them in floating dispensers, chemical feeders or skimmer baskets, whichever suits your setup.nnnnDose regularly to keep free chlorine at the recommended 3-5 mg/l (ppm) in hot tubs or 1-3 mg/l (ppm) in swimming pools. Slow release and long lasting, these tablets have as little effect on water pH as you’ll find in a stabilised chlorine tablet.nnnnKey FeaturesnnnnIt’s best to keep a free chlorine range of 3 – 5mg/l for hot tubs and 1-3mg/l for swimming pools. These stabilised tablets are well suited to regular pool dosing, generating free active chlorine that kills bacteria and other potentially harmful organisms, with a high level of both available chlorine and chlorine stabiliser.nnnnApplication Instructionsnnnn1. Maintain pH level within the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6. If outside this range please use our PH plus or PH minus products to adjust for the best results.nnnn2. Maintain free chlorine residuals for swimming pools between 1 – 3mg/l (ppm). Freshly filled pools require an initial shock or start up dose of chlorine: 50mg/l (ppm) for 1 hour or 20mg/l (ppm) for 2 hours.nnnn3. For floating dispenser: Fill the floating dispenser with tablets and adjust the aperture mechanism at the bottom of the dispenser to obtain the 1-3mg/l (ppm) desired range. Alternatively keep the dispenser aperture constant and vary the tablets inside to achieve 1-3mg/l (ppm). The dispenser should be removed from the pool whilst swimmers are bathing.nnnn4. For chlorine feeders: Fill the dispenser and follow feeder instruction manuals on flow regulation to maintain 1-3 mg/l (ppm) chlorine levels.nnnn5. For skimmer baskets: Fill the basket with 2/3 tablets and monitor levels to maintain 1-3 mg/l (ppm) chlorine levels.nnnn6. It is recommended that you periodically (e.g. fortnightly or after heavy use) shock dose your pool to eliminate any excess contamination.nnnnNote: If using in skimmer baskets we would suggest you run the pump often to prevent a build up of chlorine. Please ensure children to not have access to the skimmer as this could be dangerous.nnnnDose Rates (subject to water flow rate and temperature)nnnnSmall pool 40,000 litres of water requires approx 1 tablet to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm) or approx 3 tablets to increase chlorine level by 3mg/l(ppm)nnnnLarge pool 80,000 litres of water requires approx 2 tablets to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm) or approx 6 tablets to increase chlorine level by 3mg/l(ppm)

20 gram tablets fit perfectly in floating disperser for new Intex Pure Spa. Well presented and convenient tub of 50 tablets will last a long time but the price did seem higher than we expected possibly due to shortages caused by COVID crisis.

    floats well

  130. Toby Graham (verified owner) –

Seems to work on a very slow release method, as with the other reviewer the tablet is there the next morning, which brings me onto the big problem with this product. You get no instructions. Given you are dealing with Chlorine, most likely in a pool that kids will be playing in, having some sort of guide as to how much to use, what to expect etc would be nice. My guard was up immediately when the chlorine tablets arrived in a resealable plastic bag the likes of which you pick up in a supermarket. I would consider buying one of the more expensive models if im honest.

quick delivery I deal for my pop up spa

set the dispenser on level 2 2 open gaps and put a pill in, 12 hours later most of the pill still in the dispenser and water was chlorinated without being overbearing couldnt be bothered to test with supplied strips maybe do that once a week and adjust the settings appropriately, p.s. using a 10 pool pump to circulate water, not the greatest construction but it does the job, ideal for low usage home use

Last year got our 10ft pool with whole load of chemicals. Increase ph, decrease ph, chlorine etc… Still went green. Added this to the pool this year and so much easier Chlorine levels seem to stabilise and other than algacide once in a while weve not had any issues. Admittedly, did change filter once more than last year, but Id say weve left it pretty much to its own devices and its been fine. Emptied last week for winter and still crystal clear Last year and this pool left for a week and turned green last year, stayed clear this year.Definitely recommend and will get tablets again for next year.

This product did not get delivered on its estimated delivery date. But I assume that it was the postal services fault. I contacted the company and they were more than helpful when immediately sending a replacement. The product itself is exactly as advertised, a very simple, but effective device. The tablets are of great quality and come in a separate resealable bag but the smell is still pretty strong. 1 tablet has kept my 10 ft swimming pool crystal clear for a week at the time of writing this. They are very necessary for your hot tub, but do remember to take the holder out when you are using the tub. What can I say about the tablets they come in a big plastic tub which will lats along time at the rate of one tablet a week. It was a quick delivery time and I have no problems with the purchase or delivery. I know where to go for my restock when I run out.

My wife and her mum both suffer from a complex skin shedding problem due to a rare genetic problem and dietary binges. This makes the hot tub water become cloudy. 363. Mr Brodie B. Brennan –

I brought these Chlorine tablets for my Canadian Spa. I normally use the liquid. But I ran out of it so I brought this instead. You need to put the tablets in a floater otherwise they sink to the bottom. And is way to contrated. If you buy these for your Spa Hot Tub buy a floater just beware if you have young children these might not be suitable as children can always touch or play with the floater. I highly recommend you getting the Chlorine liquid. If you want to be sure your Spa Hot Tub is safe to use within a hour.

This stuff appears to be very effective at helping keep the pool nice and clean and, more importantly, algaefree. The chlorine tablets take ages to dissolve, so our pool doesnt stink of chlorine.IMPORTANT From my experience, this works at its best when used in a pool with a filter pump.

  488. Sarah Murphy –

This arrived promptly and looks like it does what it should, however, there were no instructions as to how to use, how many tablets to use and tablets were in clear polythene bag. Bearing in mind that the majority of people who might purchase this are probably doing it for their childrens pool this is not exactly a very satisfactory state of affairs. This is now the third purchase I have made on here when tablets or powder has come in such a method. Think that it should be stated on the product page that this is the case and then you have a choice. Would imagine too that couriers wouldnt be too impressed that they were delivering unlabelled chemicals SORT IT OUT here

Read the reviews before purchasing their products. My first mistakeBuy cheap buy twice My second mistake. There is nothing on here to say this product cannot be used with other chlorine products.Since getting these tablets Ive not been able to stabilise my water quality.Ive had to have my swimspa serviced early due to terrible water quality despite using these tablets thinking I was sanitising my pool. The engineers advised this pink buildup was bacteria. We will NEVER use here products again. They need to make it clear as well on here that these products should only be used if you use bromine in your pool, as all the products we have purchased are not to be used with chlorine, we have had chlorine tablets, Ph and alkalinity increaser. All a total waste of time and waste if moneyHydropool engineers have never heard of these and know not to recommend.Terrible product
