Description

The 5L size of Algaecide.

This powerful algaecide keeps unsightly algae out of your swimming pool and hot tub. Built to prevent and control algae growth, it earns its place in any pool owner’s kit for maintaining crystal-clear water right through the season.nnnnConsistent treatment is what keeps a pool looking its best, which is why we suggest a strong initial dose of this algaecide followed by weekly top-ups to hold algae at bay. Stick to our straightforward application instructions and you’ll get a pristine pool without the hassle of algae building up.nnnnBefore you apply the algaecide, check that pH sits within the ideal 7.2 – 7.6 range. Where algae is visible on the liner, brush it off first. It’s also worth confirming that free chlorine reads between 1-3mg/l (ppm), and for heavier infestations a shock dose to reach 5mp/l (ppm) free chlorine may be needed.nnnnFor the best spread, pour the algaecide in with the pump running, ideally close to the water inlets, so it disperses evenly through the pool and reaches algae wherever it’s growing. Once the initial dose is in, keep the pool clean with a weekly top-up dose.nnnnThe dosing guide below makes it simple to work out the right amount for your pool or hot tub. For a hot tub holding 1,000 liters (220 gallons), add 15ml to remove algae, 8ml for the initial dose and 2ml for the weekly dose. Bigger pools need proportionally more: a small pool of 40,000 liters (8,800 gallons) takes 600ml for algae removal, 300ml for the initial dose and 60ml for the weekly dose, while a medium pool of 60,000 liters (13,200 gallons) takes 900ml for algae removal, 450ml for the initial dose and 90ml for the weekly dose.nnnnThis effective algaecide takes the trouble out of algae and leaves you with a sparkling clean pool. Simple to apply and proven in use, it makes ongoing pool care far more straightforward. Give your pool the care it deserves with this essential algaecide.nnnnManufacturers description:nnnnThis algaecide will prevent and control algae growth in your swimming pool and hot tub. For best results use a strong initial dose and then topup weekly.:nnnnApplication instructions:nnnnPrior to using this product, adjust the pH levels to the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6.:nnnnIf visible signs of algae are present on the liner brush them off.:nnnnEnsure the free chlorine level is within 1-3mg/l (ppm). If heavy algae is present shock dose the pool to a free chlorine level of 5mp/l(ppm).:nnnnAdd to the water whilst the pump(s) are turned ‘on’, preferably near to the water inlets to aid distribution.:nnnnAfter the initial dose apply a weekly dose to maintain the pool.:nnnnDosing rates::nnnnHot tub: 1,000 litres (220 Gallons) of water – add 15ml for algae removal, 8ml for the initial dose and 2ml for a weekly dose.:nnnnSmall pool 40,000 litres (8800 Gallons) of water – add 600ml for algae removal, 300ml for the initial dose and 60ml for a weekly dose.:nnnnMedium pool 60,000 litres (13200 Gallons) of water – add 900ml for algae removal, 450ml for the initial dose and 90ml for a weekly dose.:
