Description

Supplied in the 6Kg size.

Meet Deep Blue Pro Calcium Hardness Plus, a straightforward way to keep the calcium hardness of your spa water properly balanced. If getting the hardness level right has been a struggle, this product is designed to sort that out.

Calcium hardness, sometimes called total hardness, has a big influence on how good your spa water is overall. It measures how hard or soft the water is, based on the mineral salts, mostly calcium, dissolved within it. Depending on where your water supply comes from, hardness can differ quite a bit from one area to another.

Getting the calcium hardness level right matters, since imbalanced water brings a range of problems. Water that is too soft can turn corrosive, etch surfaces or foam, while water that is too hard can cause scale, calcify filters, cloud the water and leave stains, all of which take away from your spa experience.

Deep Blue Pro Calcium Hardness Plus offers clear dosage guidance to deal with different hardness levels. Whether you need to lift the hardness by a small or larger amount, or simply hold it steady within the ideal range, this product makes it easy.

As an example, raising the hardness in 1,000 litres by 10mg/l takes 15g of Hardness Plus, while a bigger adjustment of 50mg/l calls for 76g. These straightforward dosage figures let you tailor treatment to suit your own spa.

Where your spa water’s calcium hardness goes above 200mg/l, Deep Blue Pro ScaleAway comes into play, guarding against scale deposits building up in the filter, heater, pipework and spa surfaces. It keeps your spa free from the problems that scale buildup can bring, even in higher hardness cases.

If you need to bring hardness down, Deep Blue Pro ScaleAway makes that simple too. Just 25ml is needed to reduce hardness across 1,000 litres, and applying it regularly at the suggested intervals brings the water gradually back to the right hardness range.

Choosing Deep Blue Pro Calcium Hardness Plus alongside ScaleAway means investing in more than water treatment, it protects the performance and lifespan of your spa. Leave hardness worries behind and enjoy balanced, crystal clear water that lifts your whole spa experience.

See what a difference accurate water treatment makes and get the most from your spa with Deep Blue Pro’s range. Choose a brand that puts quality, results and customer care first, so your spa water stays inviting every time you use it.

Discover what Deep Blue Pro products can do for your spa water routine. Balanced water starts here, so take the next step towards a better spa experience, backed by Deep Blue Pro’s know how and reliability.

Manufacturers description:

Deep Blue Pro Calcium Hardness Plus – If the calcium hardness of your spa water is less than 100mg/l then it should be increased using Deep Blue Pro Hardness Plus.

Calcium Hardness:Calcium hardness (or total hardness) is the measure of how hard or soft the water is. The level will vary depending on where your water supply comes from, for example in some parts of Scotland & South Wales the water is very soft and in the South East the water can be very hard. The hardness depends upon the amount of mineral salts (mainly calcium) that are dissolved in the water and the more salts there are the harder the water is.

Problems Associated with incorrect Calcium Hardness Levels:

Low Hardness – Corrosive water
Low Hardness – Etching of surfaces
Low Hardness – Foam
High Hardness – Scale formation
High Hardness – Filter calcification
High Hardness – Cloudy water
High Hardness – Staining

Ideal Ranges:Low calcium Hardness less than 100mg/l
High calcium Hardness more than 200mg/l
If the calcium hardness of your spa water is less than 100mg/l then it should be increased using Deep Blue Pro Hardness Plus.

Dose Rates:To Increase Hardness in 1,000 Litres by 10mg/l requires 15g of Hardness Plus
To Increase Hardness in 1,000 Litres by 25mg/l requires 38g of Hardness Plus
To Increase Hardness in 1,000 Litres by 50mg/l requires 76g of Hardness Plus
If the calcium hardness of your spa water is greater than 200mg/l then Deep Blue Pro ScaleAway should be used to help prevent scale deposits within the filter, heater, pipework and on spa surfaces.

Dose Rates:To reduce hardness in 1,000 Litres requires 25ml of ScaleAway – Repeat every 24 hours untill your levels have returned back to normal range.
