Description

The 5Kg size of Multifunctional Mini 20g Chlorine Tablets for Hot Tubs and Spas.

These multifunctional chlorine tablets pack stabilised chlorine, a clarifier and an algaecide into one enhanced tablet, an easy way to keep your pool or hot tub sparkling without buying separate care products. They help keep hot tub and swimming pool water safe and free from bacteria. The stabiliser reduces chlorine loss to sunlight, the clarifier keeps water clear instead of cloudy, and the algaecide stops algae growth turning your pool green. Combined, these ingredients give bathers the best experience for minimal maintenance. The tablets are slow release and generally last 3-4 days depending on the water flow over them.nnnnThey work well in floating dispensers, chemical feeders and skimmer baskets.nnnnDose regularly to reach the recommended free chlorine level: 3-5 mg/l (ppm) for hot tubs or 1-3 mg/l (ppm) for swimming pools. These slow release, long lasting tablets have only a minimal impact on water pH for a tablet product.nnnnKey BenefitsnnnnIt’s best to maintain a free chlorine range of 3 – 5mg/l for hot tubs and 1-3mg/l for swimming pools. These multifunctional tablets suit regular dosing of hot tubs or pools, producing free active chlorine that kills bacteria and other potentially harmful organisms, while delivering a good level of available chlorine alongside the clarifier and algaecide.nnnnDirections for Usennnn1. Maintain pH level within the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6. If outside this range please use our PH plus or PH minus products to adjust for the best results.nnnn2. Maintain free chlorine residuals for hot tubs between 3-5mg/l and for swimming pools between 1 – 3mg/l (ppm). Freshly filled hot tubs require an initial shock or start up dose of chlorine: 50mg/l (ppm) for 1 hour or 20mg/l (ppm) for 2 hours.nnnn3. For floating dispenser: Fill the floating dispenser with tablets and adjust the aperture mechanism at the bottom of the dispenser to obtain the 3-5mg/l (ppm) desired range. Alternatively keep the dispenser aperture constant and vary the tablets inside to achieve 3-5mg/l (ppm). The dispenser should be removed from the hot tub whilst bathing.nnnn4. For chlorine feeders: Fill the dispenser and follow feeder instruction manuals on flow regulation to maintain required chlorine levels.nnnn5. For skimmer baskets: Fill the basket with sufficient tablets and monitor levels to maintain required chlorine levels.nnnn6. It is recommended that you periodically (e.g. fortnightly or after heavy use) shock dose your pool to eliminate any excess contamination.nnnnNote: If using in skimmer baskets we would suggest you run the pump often to prevent a build up of chlorine. Please ensure children to not have access to the skimmer as this could be dangerous.nnnnDose Rates (subject to water flow rate and temperature)nnnnMedium hot tub 1,000 litre (220 Gallons) of water requires approx 1 tablet to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm) or 3 tablets to increase chlorine level by 3mg/l(ppm)nnnnLarge hot tub 1,500 litre (330 Gallons) of water requires approx 2 tablets to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm) or 6 tablets to increase chlorine level by 3mg/l(ppm)nnnnSwimming pools add 1 tablet per 4,500 litres (1000 Gallons) of water and monitor levels.

I have a LazySpa and find that one tablet is too much so I have to take it out after a couple of hours. The chemicals work and for that it is good but for the pain in having to be on hand and remember to take the dispenser out each time I would not recommend. I have now gone to grannuals as you can control the dose and provided you desolve them in some water before you add them they are much easier.

Did not work I didnt receive the blue tablets as pictured I received white ones so not sure if I got a bad batch. I put one on the pool with the floater before I went back on holiday. When I returned the pool was green and the tablet hadnt dissolved at all. I then threw two straight in the pool as I thought there may be a problem with the floater, 9 days later neither had dissolved at all. Had to drain the pool which takes 3 days. Thanks for nothing

  107. Cameron B. Akhtar (verified owner) –

Will not use anything else now I have tried these, hot tub water is crystal clear and have only needed to add a little PH increaser once a week due to living a soft water area. Each tablet last approx. 5 days in my 1000L hot tub. Set dispenser to lowest setting and the chlorine level is maintained with no problems. As per a previous review and instructions on item, just ensure chlorine levels are correct before using otherwise you may need to wait awhile for the tablet to dissolve and chlorine level to rise.

We have been using these as directed in a floater in our 10 ft Intex pool along with the electric filter since the end of April when we errected the pool. We have had several pools in the past, and usually by now there is a horrid green build up around the pool. But these little gems have kept our pool fresh and clean, so it will be no problem when the time comes to taking it down. I have also ordered more so I have a supply ready for next summer.

The smell was so strong that I knew it was chlorine tablets before I opened package. Be careful to keep tub well away from face when opening as the smell is horrendous unlike the granules that dont offend the nose or lungs when opening tub. 364. Mr Isla Hughes (verified owner) –

Stupidly decided to put the 8ft pool up in the garden this year before remembering how much of a faff it is to put away again. Still, littlen loved it and i definitely made the most of it with the nice weather too. Decided to try and leave it out for a bit though and knew id need some chemicals to avoid draining and refilling. Had no idea what i needed, or what was best, so a little online research led me to believe these were a quick win for my situation. Found this, seemed reasonably priced compared to others and reviews were ok. Arrived, popped it open, put a single tablet in and left it to float about whenever we werent using it. Pool was covered too to stop debris landing in it constantly as well.Im no expert but i think it worked a treat Pool stayed lovely and clear, no gunk or slime build up anywhere and it smelled clean. A little chemically, like a swimming pool kinda scent, but reassuringly familiar as clean, if that makes sense. Took it out whenever we dived in, popped it back in after. I got over 3 weeks out of a single tablet which just slowly dissolved and did its thing. Testing strips were easy to use, take one out, dip it, wait for the colours to update and compare against chart. With the treatment in, my readings were always spot on so i assume it was working as intended. Despite being able to tell it had stuff in, we had no issues with burning eyes or anything like that ether. Plenty left for if we ever have more good weather too. Cant complain with this at all, simple, effective and saved me a tonne of hassle messing about with the pool. Would definitely recommend. It is advisable to remove all chemicals some 310 days in advance of draining though, i need to let mine drain predominantly in the garden and didnt want to kill any plants or wildlife, so after the weather turned, i took this out, left the pool covered for 45 days until it no longer smelled fresh and then drained. All my grass and surrounding plants are perfectly fine so seems no harm done.

At last, after years of trying many different tablets, granules and liquids, I have found a product which actually does clear the green water in my 12 pool, and keeps it clear and doesnt leave any gunk at the bottom I dont use a pump, but just swirling the water round for a few minutes once or twice was enough. All of these things are relatively expensive, but the others Ive tried have been a real waste of money and, in fact, these are lasting longer than they advise they will, so work out cheaper than most. I would highly recommend these tablets, and will not be wasting my money on anything else from now on.

  413. Miss William Sharma –

    Just the job Thank you.

  414. Miss Zain R. Watson –

Bought to revive my hot tub after not using it for the past few weeks after running out of chlorine granules filter left running. These multi function tablets brought my hot tub water back to life after going slightly green and having a bit of a bad smell After leaving the tablets to get to work in the floater for a few days we enjoyed the hot tub once again and in minus temperatures I can see these tablets will last sometime and they are also much easier to use than granules as you pop a couple into the floater and leave it to work its magic rather than adding the chlorine once a day along with any other chemicals you need. I shall definitely consider purchasing these again when I run out of them.

Avoid at all costs, these tablets are the worst iv ever used, they break up and block the filter, other makes come with a sealed bag inside the tub which keeps them fresh but these ones are all discoloured and bits falling off them. The seller is also a nightmare to deal with, they expected me to pay the return postage to return a faulty product, emailed them many times but no joy.
