Struggling with foam in your hot tub? Our specially formulated Spa Foam Remover is a fast-acting, effective product built to tackle and stop foam building up in hot tubs. Wave goodbye to unwanted foam and enjoy a crystal-clear spa instead.nnnnOur Spa Foam Remover comes from careful research and testing, giving you a product that works quickly while keeping a neutral pH balance to protect the safety and lifespan of your hot tub components. Just a small dose of this strong formula gets you a foam-free soak in no time.nnnnApplying it couldn’t be simpler. Just follow these steps for the best results:nnnnWhere you can, turn down the jet pressure first: this small adjustment can noticeably boost how well the product removes foam.nnnnAdd the Spa Foam Remover to your hot tub with the pump(s) running. It’s best added near the water inlets so it spreads evenly through the water, reaching every part of your hot tub and leaving no space for foam to hang around.nnnnNot sure how much to use for your hot tub size? Here are clear guidelines to keep things simple:nnnnFor a standard hot tub holding 1,000 litres (220 gallons) of water, add 100ml of Spa Foam Remover for a fresh fill-up, or 50ml for weekly maintenance. Staying foam-free has never been easier.nnnnFor a larger hot tub with 1,500 litres (330 gallons) of water, adjust the amount used: add 150ml for a fresh fill-up or 75ml for regular top-ups, for a consistently clear and welcoming hot tub.nnnnChoose our Spa Foam Remover to get your relaxation time back with a foam-free hot tub. Thanks to its strong formula, easy application and reliable results, it’s a handy product for any hot tub owner wanting a pristine spa. Don’t let foam spoil your soak: our Spa Foam Remover keeps your hot tub clear and inviting every time.nnnnManufacturers description:nnnnThis spa foam remover has been specifically designed for removing and preventing foam in hot tubs. Buying this kit is a very good idea to get you going. I think the recommended doses are a little over the top, for example the daily dose of chlorine was too much. You can get away with putting that amount in every few days, but I appreciate others might have a different experience depending weather etc.
Bwebz (verified owner) –
Does what it says
Beth Campbell (verified owner) –
An absolute must have if you are to really enjoy your pool this summer
Martin Köhler (verified owner) –
The Water treatment starter kit is a great product and ensures the water is safe for our children to swim in.It contains all the necessary chemicals needed and the instructions are pretty straight forward too and plenty of water tester strips. My only issue and although only a small issue and this is the reason why I scored a 4 star, is because it does not come with a measuring guide, therefore we had to use a cake mixing cup, which is no good for use with cakes anymore.Rant over

first time I have used a kit as I was determined this pool would not end up as another green and slimy mess With a 15ft pool it is important to have the right amount of chemicals to keep it clean and algae free. Ordered the spa chemical set initially instead of the pool chemical set, however it was easy to return and company most obliging. Its got good instructions which are easy to follow. Yes would recommend
Phil T (verified owner) –
We have a 10th quick set pool. it took nearly a full day to and after a day was going green. We added this products a few days later before we changed the water just to see how well they worked. Within a few hours all the green had gone and the water was crystal clear. The new water we put in has been in for 2 weeks now and is still very clear. great product. easy to use.

keksi (verified owner) –
Essential item for our pool, instructions could be a little clearer, but the chemicals and testing strips are easy enough to use to maintain good pool health and keep the algae at bay
Natasha Veal (verified owner) –
Easy to measure once you understand the charts. Kept our pool nice and clean. Good product.
Horvth K. (verified owner) –
I bought a Lay Z Spa hot tub and so bought this starter kit at the same time. It came with enough chemicals to keep me going for at least a year and the instructions were easy enough to follow more are available on YouTube. Getting the chemical balance right is important in tubs as well as pools so this kit is helpful.
E. C. Wormald (verified owner) –
While the chemical in the box are good quality, they are for a pool. The title says pool, hot tub and spa but when to look at the instructions all the chemical measurements are just for pools. It makes it really hard to get the levels right in a spas. You can get spa only boxes which also has a defoamer chemical, if you a buying for a spa dont buy this one buy a spa kit.
Bhaskar (verified owner) –

Purchased this towards the end of June 15 for my boys to relax it after a hard football match, they love it but so do we. Easy to set up and works everytime. It has been used almost everyday by one of us or all of us. For the small cost I wouldnt have expected such a great item but its the best money I have spent for a long time for a garden item.
Sam Stanley (verified owner) –
Crystal clear water
Sue Carter (verified owner) –
This kit contains all the essentials for maintaining your pool water for the season…I found it fairly straightforward to use with clear instructions. I used it in a 3200 litre easy set pool.i get the impression I was going to get through far more test strips and chlorine granules than the other chemicals so may be the proportions should be different but perhaps that varies pool by pool

Bought this a week ago, and had no end of problems purchased on strength of excellent reviews , but this really was nothing like advertised or reviewed. The set up of the actual tank is straight forward, but filling up with water took HOURS. The chemical treatment was confusing, but worked out eventually, maintenance however, is demandingnot for working couples. Daily chemical tests, filter cleaning and you need measuring equipment for all the different chemicals … Grr. But worst I had this connected up and heating for over a day 12 hours but never got above 30 degrees Which wasnt warm Nothing but a pain, and nightmare to package back up. Returned, tesco customer service were excellent.

Chrishanthi Rajapakse (verified owner) –
An absolute must have item. Youve bought your pool and filled it up, now all you have to do is to maintain it. The Deep Blue pool kit, a decent pool filter pump, plus a pool cleaner and you can quite easily lay back and enjoy your pool. This simple and easy to use kit unless you have a 6ft pool as it doesnt list the qtys to use but theres a conversion app for that, is easy to use but you do need a measuring spoon to ensure you use the correct qtys. But if your pool is 15ft then I recommend that you buy two to ensure you have enough chlorine to last the whole summer. The test strips are easy to use and let you know how to adjust the levels to keep your pool water looking great

There is no written explanation about what the significance of high levels of Total Alkalinity mean, with the only reference being a need to address Low levels. I subsequently learned that reducing high Ph levels will also reduce the Total Alkalinity level, but not what it means

Easy and simple to use I heard that the granules clog up the filter by family members with the same lazyspa but this hasnt been the case for us. Worth buying.

After buying a 10ft pool, I needed to find a way of preserving the 3638 litres of water used to fill it up. After 2 days of use WITHOUT the pump the pool was cloudy with bits floating around. On went the pump yet still the water was cloudy. Some web research led me to this pool cleaning kit and it worked miracles Wouldnt be without it, using it with a pool net, brush and vacuum our pool water is now clear, clean and safe and I can keep the water all summer. Thaks Argos for stocking it.
Carolyn S (verified owner) –
Brilliant pool treatment
James Byrne (verified owner) –
Fantastic Easy to use Starter Kit
Gabriele Lamm-Deiss (verified owner) –
Bought this product to go with a 12ft easy up pool. The pool took 78 hours to fill with a hosepipe. So I didnt want to have to keep refilling it. used this product and havent had to change the water yet 4 weeks on and it still looks and smells clean so im very impressed with what the product does. its a bit fiddly to measure but on the whole ok . would be even better the manufacturer could give you the measures as capfuls. I would always use this product in the pool now recommend it
tjk (verified owner) –
I found using this product very easy. All the instructions are clear and concise. Using this product kept my 10ft pool clean and clear for the whole of the summer.
DOGWALKER1 (verified owner) –
I recently brought this for our 8ft round intex pool. As the pool holds nearly 5000l of water it is not ideal to keep draining it and filling up.Thus kit keeps the pool in hood condition for the summer. It is easy to use, very similar to having a fish tank instead we want cholrine. The instructions are easy to follow, although I have not needed to daily dose, but test everyday to keep on top of it.I would recommend a filter and cover as well.
Kevin Calvert (verified owner) –
Well, exactly what it says on the bottle in this case. All pretty straight forward really, the instructions are Ok and easy enough to follow. It does tend to assume you have one of their pools but calculating your pool size shouldnt be a problem anyway.
Ms Jaspreet Rahman –

Great hot tub for the price
smf1260 (verified owner) –
I should have invested in this from the start. I have now learnt to care for my spa because of the excellent information in the pack. It now has water that doesnt foam, I can keep the ph balance as it should be and although I was putting chlorine in I wasnt aware the best results come from dissolving ANY granules before putting them in.
FayM (verified owner) –
You will definitely need this if you are serious about keeping your pool and its water in tip top condition. A very good kit with concise clear instructions on how to use correctly. A must have for your pool
Suresh Q. Roberts –

carmela rapacciuolo (verified owner) –
Be aware that this kit contains most of what you need to maintain pool water but does not come with anything to increase alkalinity of water. So have ordered a big bag of bicarb.
Karima (verified owner) –
Good value for money in the sale. Instructions easy to follow and has allowed us to keep our pool up in roasting hot heat, all nice and clean for everyone
Mrs P West (verified owner) –
We have a 8ft easy up pool and this kit is more than adequate. We treated the pool all summer and still have enough treatment for next summer too I think. Water stayed clean throughout.

mark pollard (verified owner) –
Clear water Yes it is.Normally after 3 days, my pool turns green. Not with this stuff. It has lasted for weeks. The instructions on how to use it is a bit complicated, but once you figure out how, its obviously easy.I would recommend this kit to anybody that uses their pool often.
Justinas (verified owner) –
The chemicals were as expected but the product box they arrived in was very tatty and had been all taped together. I would not have bought it from a shop in that condition. I would like to have known why the box was so battered and torn For a supposedly new product it did not look very new However, chemicals worked fine.
Ewan H (verified owner) –
Instructions are far too vague and not sure the dipsticks work as they were the same colour before and after adding chemicals, but this COULD be because I havent added enough, for fear of putting too much in A measuring scoop would have been helpful too … I dread lifting the cover and looking at the water in case its turned green
Dave M. (verified owner) –
Very pleased with this set has everything you need to get you started with pool maintenance. Delivery quick so very satisfied overall
Alfie Chowdhury –
Works brilliantly, pro grade performance 1L bottle looks premium. Spot on.
P. Taverner (verified owner) –
Having no experience with water treatment, this is an excellent starter kit. With easy instructions we soon got the hang of it. We have had no repercussions from the chemicals and the water looks lovely and clear.
Dr Charlie E. Mehta (verified owner) –
Excellent choice, pro grade performance with 10L bottle, feels built to last. Great value.
Pauline Bix (verified owner) –
Take care when buying this, comes recommended but is actually for pools and not specifically for hot tubs, so ratios and measurements are all out and doesnt contain exactly what you need for a hot tub.
artdealer2 (verified owner) –
Really pleased with this kit. Everything I needed to start looking after the pool, the instructions are easy to follow and I can now order additional individual products as needed.

Excellent choice, 1L bottle, quick and effective Would buy again.
Jeni Hill (verified owner) –
First time around I set my daughters pool up without the water treatment kit was a really bad idea as the water was no good within days, so a lot of time and water wasted. Once this kit is added it is just perfect and I just love the look and smell of treated water, everyone was ready to get into the pool. I found the instructions and working out the measurements a bit unclear so that could do with a small measure cup, but over all very happy and kit should last for a good while.
Mr Simran R. Graham –

Not really sure why I am being asked to review this product…I did needwant it but sadly it seemed I had to order it in store for collection in 5 days or so later, so was of no use. Having said that I did buy it last year and apart from the one time I left the pool for days it really worked keeping pool nice and inviting for a dip
jasper200005 (verified owner) –

Davenport Burgess (verified owner) –
Got this put up last week and the weather was good. We put some rubber matting down if you are putting on grass I would recommend something similar as it gets muddy just by getting in and out. Getting the chemical balance right is difficult, time consuming, and frustrating, when chlorine good PH was low , wish there was one mixture, I am still struggling with the balance but I figure if chlorine ok then good to go, my skin is ok and water is clear. Draining it is a major faff. I had to buy a shorter hose so if you set up near a drain better, it took over four hours to slowly drain, there isnt any pressure to push the water out. So frustratingly slow. I have yet to buy any cleaner for it but I use white vinegar 5050 mix you do get slight scum ring but you have to keep the maintenance up. It is great fun, me and my family love it,but it is time consuming to deal with. I am very happy with it as cheap option for hot tub, but again dont be under any illusion that a quick 5 minute job to maintain will do,
Ursa Major (verified owner) –
Great, all thats needed to set up and maintain tub, I wish Id have realised that there was enough chlorine granules to keep hot tub sanitised for months or more as I also bought an extra 500g of the stuff, the shock rate for cancun is 3 teaspoons
Mr Florence U. Bennett –

Lola2202 (verified owner) –
Excellent for first pool easy to use water stayed crystal clear no sign of contamination would recommend this product with every pool
Raj (verified owner) –
Easy to understand instructions, just followed the correct measures for my pool size and it was ready to enjoy within 4 hours.Depending on the size of your pool our 18ft x 12ft uses a lot of chemicals initially and to maintain correct levels you will need additional chlorine within a month. The test strips are simple to understand and with 25 in the pack they should last a while unless you have issues controlling the chemicals.A good purchase for a new pool.
