Brought me out in a rash

  16. C. W. Morley (verified owner) –

This product contains an anti-flocculant as well as the chlorine. Small debris clumps together and somehow gets taken out by the filter more effectively. It helped keep our water even cleaner than when we used to use just granules.

  17. Amy Healy (verified owner) –

    good for the price

  18. fernman –

Chose the nx day delivery option as needed ASAPExcellent value for moneyVery pleased with itemThank you

  19. Cubico Coffee (verified owner) –

bought this unbranded chlorine tablet because they were £7 cheaper than DeepBlue but they simply don’t work. I was using 3 tablets in a floater with the branded product but with this I am using 8 (the most I can put in the floater) and it still does not register when using a PH stick. Use something else, these do not work

  20. shoemaker (verified owner) –

Kept our 8ft bestway pool clean for the 6 weeks we sort of had some sun in north east 2014, pool smelt clean and stayed clean great product

  21. karen squires (verified owner) –

Just brilliant for my 12ft pool kept it clean and clear all summer

  22. David H –

I brought these Chlorine tablets for my Canadian Spa. I normally use the liquid. But I ran out of it so I brought this instead. You need to put the tablet(s) in a floater otherwise they sink to the bottom. And is way to contrated. If you buy these for your Spa/ Hot Tub buy a floater just beware if you have young children these might not be suitable as children can always touch or play with the floater. I highly recommend you getting the Chlorine liquid. If you want to be sure your Spa/ Hot Tub is safe to use within a hour.

  23. Daniel Dutto –

great tablets for swimming pool would recommend

  24. I. Wheatley –

  25. H.G. (verified owner) –

I use this product with my Lay-Z-Spa and it has never let me down. They are used in conjuction with a floatation device that naturally moves around your pool / spa and evenly distributes the right amount of Chlorine, Alkaline and pH around the water. The floatation device is available from the same company if you did’nt get one with your pool / spa when purchased.Easy, simple and affective.

  26. John John Mc Dougall –

Don’t waste your time used 1 tablet and noticed two days later it had turned the spa liner green the spa liner is now faded contacted the seller who were very unhelpful

  27. Kamaljit Walker (verified owner) –

  32. Alan Baxter –

Love these as you can just chuck a couple in the dispenser and forget.Yes you have to adjust the ph levels, but these tabs make keeping ahot tub clean and hygienic so easy

  33. Bally Sahota (verified owner) –

Very good 4 in 1one’s. Keep the Hot Tub very clean and clear. We use the tub 3time’s plus daily. Couple of tablets every other day. Delivered on time as always. Very good value

  34. MARIANO EGEA ORTIZ –

  35. Stephanie S –

Much simpler to use than separate chemicals which I couldn’t get to grips with. I put 1-2 tablets in the floating dispenser which lasts about 3 days depending on use of hot tub (used in Lay Z Spa Monaco). I found that I needed to also purchase the DeepBlue clarifier as the tablets contain algaecide which I think is what made the water a bit cloudy..poured clarifier in and now have sparkly clear water too!!! Fast delivery, highly recommend for a simple way to maintain a lay z spa, very happy with my purchase. Don’t get your nose too close when opening the pot as it is a very strong smell!!!!

  36. Emmanuelg (verified owner) –

They do a great job for chlorine levels in a hot tub, but I’m sure the ones we had last time helped with the clarity of the water.. These don’t seem to dk that, or if they do, not as well as the others. Still great value for money.

  37. K W (verified owner) –

Easy to use tablets, it could’ve come with gloves so you dont have to touch them.

This chlorine tablet dispenser is good .. place the tablets into it and let the breeze take it around the pool .. you can vary the amount of chlorine that leeches out from it .. but I always have it fully open as it seems to chlorinate better that way!

The lid for this dispenser is flimsy, and after a month of use the catch that keeps the lid on has snapped. A disappointing purchase

  138. Deep Blue Customer –

Delivered on time, excellent tablets for load and leave usage, i have a lay z spa and had to bring the water back to life so i out a tablet into the section you screw the filter onto, it dissolved in less than a day and the pool was perfect again, now i am adding to the floater and the pool is perfect!

  250. Miles Hall (verified owner) –

Having bought this product im appauled at the quality. Having only used 1 tablet in the chemical floater as reccomended im disgusted to see that it has bleached all of the colour from my liner, there were no other chemicals in the spa at the time so has to be the tablet.

This has been working well for us in our 3m by 2m pool. I put 2 tablets in at a time and let it float about when no one is in the pool. One note is that when the tablets dissolve down really small they can fall out of the holes in the base, this has left a small white patch on out pool.

  278. Mr. Derek G. Drew –

    Best tablets to buy

  279. Martin HANL (verified owner) –

Seems to keep our 12 foot pool clean but, as others have stated, they are very ‘bleachy’. If you just throw them in you’ll have very noticeable white marked where they rest. I’ve had to buy a floating dispenser. Will probably go back to granules when these run out.

This product did not get delivered on it’s estimated delivery date. But I assume that it was the postal services fault. I contacted the company and they were more than helpful when immediately sending a replacement. The product itself is exactly as advertised, a very simple, but effective device. The tablets are of great quality and come in a separate re-sealable bag (but the smell is still pretty strong). 1 tablet has kept my 10 ft swimming pool crystal clear for a week at the time of writing this. I have a 12 foot easy set pool. In theory these tablets are a great idea, however they do not dissolve easily, if at all. I had a whole one left in the floating distributor practically untouched after 10 days. I wonder if they are specifically designed for hot tubs where there is warmer water and frequent agitation to help it dissolve?… In anycase, I switched to the same brand but granules – works a treat (I use warm water to dissolve the granules before adding to the pool).

Have used these now for 3 seasons in my LayZspa hot tub – never bother with any additional chemicals – just one tablet in the floater with the “vents” closed from day 1 – works a treat and no issue with the water quality as a result.

The tablets did not dissolve. No instructions. Will definitely be getting the liquid form as these tablets were rock hard like they’d been stored for a long time. I also paid next day delivery but did not receive them the next day.

  515. SueZ –

Did not come as picture. Free strips not in a pot but a vacuum sealed pack with approx 10 strips. Once opened strips are exposed to moisture. Dispenser and chlorine tablets as advertised.

  516. Katarzyna Karwecka –

Does exactly what it says. Floats around the pool and keeps the chlorine tablets from being accidentally touched.

They are rather large tablets so too big for my floater. I’ve used a small net washing bag with zip on and to hold it in place near to filter outlet. Tablet lasts for ages 4 to 6 weeks in 12ft pool. Water still clear even though filture pump has been off now for 2 weeks

I used this to clear green algae from our water feature, worked perfectly within 48 hours. 1 tablet was overkill with quite a strong smell but that has now cleared. Have bought a floating dispenser which appears to control the release.of the chemicals.

  564. Ovidiu Marin –

Chlorine tablets are essential for keeping pool water clear and hygienic. These chlorine tablets (10 in this pack) are placed in the plastic float and dissolve and release chlorine over about 7-10 days. Therefore the 10 tablets will last 70-100 days or so for a garden pool about 8-10 feet diameter. The float is easy to use, and although not the most robust piece of plastic, all it needs to do is float round the pool and so unlikely to encounter much stress to damage it. There are a few test strips included but these come in a foil container and once this is opened will deteriorate on exposure to air unless protected in a sealed container (not supplied). These are insufficient in number for the season and so a separate supply will need to be ordered. Reasonable at the price.Sept. 2017 update; Although I used these as instructed and the chlorine/pH was within the optimum my paddling pool still went green after 3 weeks or so. I was surprised and so revisited the small print. It actually says ‘reduces the amount of algaecide and flocculent needed’. Well I had to order some algaecide and fast dissolving chlorine tablets to ‘shock’ the pool. This resolved it and the pool cleared. So algaecide is needed with these – chlorine tablets alone are insufficient. The water was slightly cloudy but the pool vacuum and pump resolved this. The float is however good, lasted all summer, and required for the slow release chlorine tablets.

  630. Master of Disaster (verified owner) –

Everything works as you would expect, but there are no instructions for the tablets and although the test strips say a quantity of 50, I received (at best) 20 in my pack. The packaging could have been better for the plastic dispenser too – had been bashed about quite a lot, as there was no padding, and some cracks were visible but thankfully not anywhere that stops it working.

  631. levi (verified owner) –

Brilliant, the tablets dissolve slowly and last a long time whilst keeping the water crystal clear.

After struggling to keep my hot tub chemicals in balance and needing to dose up with chlorine granules daily. At last I have found a product that works!I had two problems. Chlorine levels dropping to negligible in around 24hrs and very cloudy water. I was adding chlorine granules and liquid clarifier to my hot tub every day. Since using this my water has cleared up like fresh water and my chlorine is maintained. I put two tablets into my 930l hot tub and leave the dosing gap fully open. The tablets last about three days.

Add 3 or 4 of these chlorine tab things to the outflow and your water should be all clean and clear within a day. Word of advice…dont smell them when you open the tub or breathe in near them unless you like coughing with a burning sensation up your nose! P.S. I told you…. you cant esist… dont smell them!

  749. Lucy M (verified owner) –

I wouldn’t use any other product other than this for our hot tub, as it does exactly what it is supposed to do. We tried smaller tablets, which didn’t register on the testing strips at all. This product however chlorinates the pool and keeps us safe from harmful water bacteria.

  760. jeffrey page (verified owner) –

When the tub is opened the tablets are in a sealed plastic bag and there is a very overpowering chlorine smell so be very careful and make sure the room is ventilated where they are stored. It’s the first time I’ve used this brand and I don’t use them for a hot tub. I put a couple in the toilet bowl so the fact that they are large and dissolve slowly is good but I also usually use a different brand and they are “chlorine / detergent” tablets for hot tubs , paddling pools and washing , floors or in the washer . I couldn’t use these for my washing and floors. However for my toilet they will last a very long time.

Keep my 10ft pool perfect. I have 2 chlorine dispensers and put 2 tablets in each, they dissolve over time then just top the dispenser up again. 🙂 easy to use no hassle and very good value for money. I also have the ph / chlorine tester sticks, after a month of the pool being up its still perfectly clear and ph / chlorine is spot on. 🙂

    Not enough for our pool

  811. Michael Stephenson (verified owner) –

We purchased for an 8ft pool used over the summer. This takes 1 chlorine table (as supplied) and lasted a little over a week before being replaced. It took about a week of being in the pool for us to see any type of result on the test strips which are themselves terrible, they don’t match up to the chart well at all.The dispenser itself does the job. There is a twist bottom to expand or reduce the dispenser size and it seemed to work OK in our pool. Clearly a cheaper dispenser but for the money I wasn’t expecting something top quality.Happy with purchase.

The dispenser is fine but the picture shows a tub of 50 test strips. What you actually get is a little silver foil pack of 10. The item is available on here with double the chlorine tablets for the same price without the test strips from alternative sellers so shop around!

We’ve got a Lazyspa Miami and I tend to alternate between 2 tablets in the floater then next time 1, and it keeps everything at the right levels. We’ve not had to change the water in 6 weeks with pretty heavy use and all the levels are still spot on.

This stuff appears to be very effective at helping keep the pool nice and clean and, more importantly, algae-free. The chlorine tablets take ages to dissolve, so our pool doesn’t stink of chlorine.IMPORTANT: From my experience, this works at its best when used in a pool with a filter pump.

These ‘multi-function’ tablets leave loads of residue and mess up the pump – I couldn’t work out why I kept getting loads of error codes and eventually drained and cleaned everything out. When I flushed the inlet and outlet loads of bits came out and there was a massive amount of residue in the bottom of the tub. This is not a product I will buy again.

Used these instead of chlorine granules in a hot tub, much better using these tabs in floating dispenser. No instructions on how to use as pointed out by other reviewers but I put 4 in the dispenser and it controls the chlorine perfectly. I just check they’re still there and will renew when dissolved. Very pleased with purchase.

They are very necessary for your hot tub, but do remember to take the holder out when you are using the tub. Very handy chlorine tablet pack …Basically you just pop one in your hot-tub floater and leave it to chlorinate overnight. Valuewise these are more expensive than the chlorine granules but we found a tablet lasts longer in the floater so in the long run might be slightly more cost effective.Delivery from company was right on time.Good product.Absolutely essential for hot tub.We give them 4 out of 5 on value against chlorine granules but 5 out 5 on ease of use.Company service … 5 out of 5.

1220. Roland Hertlein (verified owner) –

This set is so much more convenient than using chlorine granules and even the powder, both of which I used to mix with hot water and throw in the pool, then I’d get a bit lazy and miss a couple of days and it would turn green.I didn’t think 10 tabs would be enough and that they’d dissolve really quickly but I’ve been using the 1st tablet for a few days now and it’s still a decent size, they’re also multifunctional, not just chlorine, so are doing a better job of keeping the pool clean with the aid of a filter.

Really good product I have bought a second lot now as they have kept my 10ft steel frame pool clean and crystal clear for 10 weeks now with no problems. But do be careful as they are very strong! I had to empty half the pool out after 10 weeks as the smell of the gasses being admitted was very strong it was burning my nose. But that’s to be expected with the same water for an extended period of time. If used correctly then you wont have any problems.

Just purchased a hot tub. Never had one before. The tablets were blue. Is this correct or should they be white. The tablets don’t dissolve. I’ve only used one at a time but the chlorine level is low. Should I be using more than 1 tablets. Only had the hot tub 1 week, used 4x. When the jets on there is lots of foam, don’t know why? I thought I just put one tablet in the dispenser and left but the chemical levels are not correct and I’m worried about the foaming. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I’ve tried a few tubs of these but I haven’t had any luck with them. They just don’t seem to have any effect on my chlorine levels (which are non-existent) despite filling the dispenser on my filter cartridge. I’ve had to drain the pool several times now due to poor water quality and this just didn’t happen with my previous brand of chlorine tablets. I am using this with a 12ft x 8ft hyrdropool, set at about 36deg in a very hard water area. Maybe one or all of these points is a factor in their performance.

  1315. ERF –

Does the job as far as sorting the water out, but leaves annoying bits (like crumbs) of chlorine on the bottom of the tub, makes the tub feel like there’s bits of grit on the bottom. Yuk!

1316. Rami Refaie (verified owner) –

The tablets definitely work. I use 3 tablets about every week and mypool is perfectly clear. Last year I was having to empty and clean iton a regular basis. This is a huge improvement.

Read the reviews before purchasing their products. My first mistakeBuy cheap buy twice My second mistake. There is nothing on here to say this product cannot be used with other chlorine products.Since getting these tablets Ive not been able to stabilise my water quality.Ive had to have my swimspa serviced early due to terrible water quality despite using these tablets thinking I was sanitising my pool. The engineers advised this pink buildup was bacteria. We will NEVER use here products again. They need to make it clear as well on here that these products should only be used if you use bromine in your pool, as all the products we have purchased are not to be used with chlorine, we have had chlorine tablets, Ph and alkalinity increaser. All a total waste of time and waste if moneyHydropool engineers have never heard of these and know not to recommend.Terrible product
