Description

This is the 5Kg option of Spa Hardness Plus.

Meet Deep Blue Pro Calcium Hardness Plus, a dependable way to keep the calcium hardness of your spa water perfectly balanced. If getting the ideal hardness level has been a struggle, Deep Blue Pro Hardness Plus is here to help.

Calcium hardness, sometimes called total hardness, has a big impact on the overall quality of your spa water. It measures how hard or soft the water is, shaped by the mineral salts, mainly calcium, dissolved within it. Where your water supply comes from can make a real difference to its hardness, with levels varying widely from region to region.

Getting calcium hardness right matters, as imbalanced water can bring a range of problems. Water that is too soft can turn corrosive, etch surfaces and cause foaming, while water that is too hard can lead to scale buildup, filter calcification, cloudy water and staining, all of which can spoil your spa experience.

Deep Blue Pro Calcium Hardness Plus provides clear dosage guidance to deal with varying hardness levels. Whether you want to raise the hardness by set amounts or hold it within the ideal range, this product gives you a simple, effective way to do it.

For example, raising hardness in 1,000 litres by 10mg/l calls for 15g of Hardness Plus, while a bigger adjustment, such as a 50mg/l increase, needs 76g of Hardness Plus. These straightforward guidelines make it easy to tailor the treatment to your spa’s needs.

If your spa water’s calcium hardness climbs above 200mg/l, Deep Blue Pro ScaleAway takes over to guard against scale deposits in the filter, heater, pipework and spa surfaces. This companion product keeps your spa free from the damaging effects of scale buildup even when hardness runs high.

When hardness needs to come down, Deep Blue Pro ScaleAway makes it easy. Just 25ml is required to reduce hardness in 1,000 litres, simplifying the job of bringing your water back to the ideal level. Applying it regularly at the recommended intervals brings hardness gradually back into the desired range.

Choosing Deep Blue Pro Calcium Hardness Plus and ScaleAway means investing not just in water treatment, but in the long term performance of your spa. Leave worries about incorrect hardness levels behind and enjoy balanced, crystal clear water that lifts your spa experience even further.

Discover what precise water treatment can achieve and get the most from your spa with Deep Blue Pro’s innovative range. Trust a brand focused on quality, effectiveness and customer satisfaction, keeping your spa water pristine and inviting every time you take a dip.

Make the most of Deep Blue Pro products and set a new standard in spa water maintenance. Your path to perfectly balanced water starts right here, backed by the expertise and reliability that Deep Blue Pro is known for.

Manufacturers description:

Deep Blue Pro Calcium Hardness Plus – If the calcium hardness of your spa water is less than 100mg/l then it should be increased using Deep Blue Pro Hardness Plus.

Calcium Hardness:Calcium hardness (or total hardness) is the measure of how hard or soft the water is. The level will vary depending on where your water supply comes from, for example in some parts of Scotland & South Wales the water is very soft and in the South East the water can be very hard. The hardness depends upon the amount of mineral salts (mainly calcium) that are dissolved in the water and the more salts there are the harder the water is.

Problems Associated with incorrect Calcium Hardness Levels:

Low Hardness – Corrosive water
Low Hardness – Etching of surfaces
Low Hardness – Foam
High Hardness – Scale formation
High Hardness – Filter calcification
High Hardness – Cloudy water
High Hardness – Staining

Ideal Ranges:Low calcium Hardness less than 100mg/l
High calcium Hardness more than 200mg/l
If the calcium hardness of your spa water is less than 100mg/l then it should be increased using Deep Blue Pro Hardness Plus.

Dose Rates:To Increase Hardness in 1,000 Litres by 10mg/l requires 15g of Hardness Plus
To Increase Hardness in 1,000 Litres by 25mg/l requires 38g of Hardness Plus
To Increase Hardness in 1,000 Litres by 50mg/l requires 76g of Hardness Plus
If the calcium hardness of your spa water is greater than 200mg/l then Deep Blue Pro ScaleAway should be used to help prevent scale deposits within the filter, heater, pipework and on spa surfaces.

Dose Rates:To reduce hardness in 1,000 Litres requires 25ml of ScaleAway – Repeat every 24 hours untill your levels have returned back to normal range.
