    Purpose – to hold the chlorine tablets in the water for them to slowly dissolve and thats exactly what it does. Holds upto 5 of the tables I have, which I use when away. The lid could be better in that it comes off easily but as the unit it to be taken out of the pool when people are in it, this was no big deal.

    Purchased this item for granddaughters hot tub, was so impressed I purchased a second one for my grandsons large pool. It keeps the water totally clean and hygienic and ensures we dont have to empty and refill the hot tub, and more importantly, my grandsons pool where he loves to splash with lots of his friends. (6-8 10yrs old boys with mucky hands and feet, jumping in and out of the pool doesnt bear thinking about the germs lol). Purchased tablets for this item and would def recommend.

    The lid comes off easily so we learnt quickly, not to leave it in the pool when in use as a bleach tablet fell out and bleached the colour out of a patch of the pool pattern.Does the job. Tablets last well.

    Does the job – very easy to use. Does not take any abuse. The lid on ours lost its little retaining clip after 2 days. We continue to use it months later. The disadvantage of the lid being unsecured is that the chlorine tablets can more easily fall out onto the floor of the pool and bleach patches white on the floor. An easy way to keep chlorine levels right on your pool. We boost with chlorine granules very occasionally to get levels just right. We take it out of the pool when the kids are in.
