Description
HTH Calcium Hypochlorite Granules are a premium dry chlorine sanitiser suited to swimming pools, hot tubs and spas, supplied in a convenient 10kg bucket. Made by Lonza, HTH ranks among the world’s leading dry chlorine brands and is relied on by commercial pool operators and maintenance professionals globally.
Calcium hypochlorite brings several practical benefits compared with other chlorine types. Its lower pH, relative to many alternative sanitisers, can save up to 50% on pH correction costs, while its naturally low salt content limits Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) build-up in the water. Lower TDS translates into fewer partial water changes, less plant corrosion and better overall water quality.
This 10kg bucket size suits smaller commercial pools, spa facilities and domestic pools where a more manageable pack is preferred. The secure lidded pail keeps the granules dry and stable between uses.
Main features:
- Suited to swimming pools, hot tubs and spas
- Lower pH than many other sanitisers, cutting pH correction costs by up to 50%
- Low Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), limiting plant corrosion and equipment wear
- Low salt content, reducing the need for costly dilution of water
- Added calcium helps guard pool grout and surfaces
- Works well in both hard and soft water conditions
- Comes in a 10kg lidded bucket for safe, convenient storage
- Compatible with standard pool dosing systems
Use a pool water test kit to check chlorine and pH levels before dosing. Always wear appropriate PPE and follow safe handling guidance when working with pool chemicals.
