One of the standout features of these tablets is the clarifier component, which works wonders in maintaining water clarity and preventing it from becoming cloudy. Say goodbye to murky water and hello to a sparkling pool or hot tub that invites you to take a refreshing dip.

Algae growth can be a persistent issue for pool owners, but fret not – the algaecide in these tablets acts as a formidable defense against algae, keeping your pool water algae-free and vibrant blue. No more green pool nightmares with this powerful inhibitor on your side.

What sets these tablets apart is their multifunctionality, offering a comprehensive approach to water treatment. By combining essential components in one convenient tablet, you can enjoy a hassle-free maintenance routine with maximum results. Whether you prefer using floating dispensers, chemical feeds, or skimmer baskets, these versatile tablets adapt to various application methods, making it easy to integrate them into your existing pool maintenance routine.

To maintain optimal water quality, it is recommended to regularly apply these tablets to achieve the ideal free chlorine levels of 3-5 mg/l (ppm) for hot tubs and 1-3 mg/l (ppm) for swimming pools. The slow-release nature of the tablets minimises pH fluctuations, offering stable water conditions for a comfortable and safe swimming experience.

  135. Marjorie M. (verified owner) –

These multi function tablets brought my hot tub water back to life after going slightly green and having a bit of a bad smell! After leaving the tablets to get to …

  136. carol bannister (verified owner) –

    Works

  137. Peggy Smith –

These are good tablets but be careful as I have a 3800L pool (10ft) and I used 3 which sent the chlorine level off the scale! Really one per day ince you have fully shocked and treated the pool is enough. It’s stabilised so will be better than the unstabilised chlorine initial shock dose at stopping the chlorine levels being burned off in the elements. Now I have the hang of it al I have bought large qtys of the powder form so I can save money as the tablets are expensive long term.

I wouldn’t use any other product other than this for our hot tub, as it does exactly what it is supposed to do. We tried smaller tablets, which didn’t register on the testing strips at all. This product however chlorinates the pool and keeps us safe from harmful water bacteria.

Purchased these tablets thinking these were a reputable company but I think not not only is my label wonky but no seal on the container so who knows if they have come from DeepBlue.Sent a question about product as upon using tablets 1st time we got a green mark at the bottom of the hot tub it’s bleached the bottom. Don’t buy from this company ad you won’t get a good enough response or offered a refund!

Really pleased how quick it came. We have a 6ft Intex pool, so far I’ve put one tablet in the dispenser and had it in one day, sadly due to rain the kids haven’t used the pool since putting it in, so I haven’t tested the chlorine level. I’m glad the strips were included, I wouldn’t want to guess. You also get a chart which tells you the level it should be which is very handy.

    Great Value

  256. S. Geddes (verified owner) –

Seems to keep our 12 foot pool clean but, as others have stated, they are very ‘bleachy’. If you just throw them in you’ll have very noticeable white marked where they rest. I’ve had to buy a floating dispenser. Will probably go back to granules when these run out.

  257. Silvana S. –

set the dispenser on level 2 (2 open gaps) and put a pill in, 12 hours later most of the pill still in the dispenser and water was chlorinated without being overbearing (couldn’t be bothered to test with supplied strips maybe do that once a week and adjust the settings appropriately, p.s. using a 10′ pool pump to circulate water, not the greatest construction but it does the job, ideal for low usage home use!

  258. N L Wright –

Exactly as described easy to understand and use

  259. C. Zavala –

    Highly recommend

  260. Caleb M. –

    Keep your water clean

  262. Grumpyrocker –

I had great hopes that this would deliver the required amount of chlorine to my pool as it says the tablets dissolve over 3-5 days. But they don’t. It can take 3 weeks so I have had to keep topping up the chlorine using liquid. It seems like a good idea but just doesn’t work properly.

  263. Iain y. –

    Worth getting .

  264. Count Wilhelm (verified owner) –

  275. Anneka Avery –

Waste of money would never buy this product again, I placed it in the dispenser, it’s meant to be slow release, it started frothing straight away and leaves small white bits in the water, totally disappointed

  276. tatiane marcelino (verified owner) –

It came on time and was simple to use, but I think I would get something better next time. But it still does the trick.

Product is fine but after purchasing I found the exact same item at B&Q for £10.£15 cheaper±±

  290. Lis (verified owner) –

Used for a 10ft with floater. It arrived quickly given the current situation and had been amazing with fluctuating weather. The paddling pool is still going strong after 2 months when I would normally have had to empty it and clean it by now.

  291. Mrs. G. D. Green (verified owner) –

    Just right

  292. Mr. A. Bailey (verified owner) –

When the tub is opened the tablets are in a sealed plastic bag and there is a very overpowering chlorine smell so be very careful and make sure the room is ventilated where they are stored. It’s the first time I’ve used this brand and I don’t use them for a hot tub. I put a couple in the toilet bowl so the fact that they are large and dissolve slowly is good but I also usually use a different brand and they are “chlorine / detergent” tablets for hot tubs , paddling pools and washing , floors or in the washer . I couldn’t use these for my washing and floors. However for my toilet they will last a very long time.

  293. Matt B. –

Brilliant really good tablets for my hot tub I would recommend them to anyone

  321. Melody V. –

Tablets. Have to much chlorine to real tablets. I had original. Tabs. These ones are so strong they burn my eyes in the heat haze. Pls avoid.

  322. Mrs Mary McCloskey –

The only bad thing about these are that they do not dissolve in normal water at all, so if you want to get to them to dissolve you may have to boil water. Other than that they are quite useful.

  323. Pamrich (verified owner) –

A few years ago i invested in the complete kit, which required a lot of effort to get the alkaline, chlorine, and bromine levels correct. These tabs work wonders, put inside a suitable container and change every 2-3 days. I’ve also invested in a net and PH strips. After three weeks the water looks and smells clean. Perfect !

  352. Leonard (verified owner) –

I have a LazySpa and find that one tablet is too much so I have to take it out after a couple of hours. The chemicals work and for that it is good but for the pain in having to be on hand and remember to take the dispenser out each time I would not recommend. I have now gone to grannuals as you can control the dose and provided you desolve them in some water before you add them they are much easier.

We’ve had these before for our Hot Tub and they provide good value for money and dissolve without a problem. Cheaper than the DeepBlue version by a fiver – albeit the price of all tablets has gone up by 33% due to COVID. (everyone staying at home buying a hot tub instead of holidaying equals price increases unfortunately it seems).
