Description

The 2Kg size of Shock Chlorine Granules ideal for spas and hot tubs.

Deep Blue Shock Chlorine Granules are ideal for hot tubs and spas, keeping the water crystal clear and safe so you can relax and enjoy it. This powerful formula is designed to target and remove contaminants like bacteria, algae and chloramines, keeping your spa water in top condition.

Shock, or super chlorination, plays a big part in water maintenance. Whether you’re filling your spa for the first time, bringing it back into use after a break, or dealing with heavy use, these Shock Chlorine Granules are the product to turn to. A shock treatment resets and refreshes your spa water, giving you a clean, hygienic environment to relax in.

Staying on top of maintenance keeps your spa water at its best. We recommend shock treating the water at least every 2 weeks, more often if your spa gets heavy use. These granules are built for hot tubs, dissolving quickly and thoroughly in warm water for fast, even distribution.

While designed mainly for hot tubs and spas, these Shock Chlorine Granules can also be used in swimming pools for similar sanitation benefits. For pool use, pre-dissolve the granules in warm water before adding them, which supports better dispersion, quicker action and the best results.

One of the best things about Deep Blue Shock Chlorine Granules is how convenient and easy they are to use. Available in a range of tub sizes, you’ll always have a good supply of high-quality Shock Chlorine ready whenever your water needs a lift. The granular form dissolves fast, saving you time and effort on spa upkeep.

Bringing these Shock Chlorine Granules into your spa routine helps protect the long-term performance of your hot tub or spa. Leave cloudy or smelly water behind and enjoy a clean, welcoming spa you can relax in with confidence.

Get more from your spa with Deep Blue Shock Chlorine Granules, a dependable, effective way to keep pool and spa water clean, clear and healthy. Rely on shock chlorination to keep impurities out of your spa water, so you can unwind in a hygienic, inviting setting.

Choose quality, convenience and Deep Blue Shock Chlorine Granules for your pool, hot tub or spa maintenance. See what a superior shock chlorine treatment can do to bring your spa water to a new level of purity and freshness.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:

Prior to using this product, adjust the pH levels to the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6 to promote bather comfort, plant protection and effective chemical use.
Maintain free chlorine residuals within the range 1-3mg/l (ppm) for pools and 3-5mg/l (ppm) for spas.

Freshly filled spas or those left without use for a period of time will require an initial start up dose of free chlorine of 10mg/l (ppm) for pools and 20mg/l (ppm) for spas.

This product may be applied directly to spas where temperatures exceed 20 degrees C. For swimming pools or if below this temperature pre-dissolve this product in a clean plastic container to a maximum rate of 10g of product per 0.2 gallons (1 Litre) of warm water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved to prevent any bleaching of the pool liner. Add the resulting solution to the water whilst the pump(s) are turned on, near the water inlets to aid distribution. Repeat dose application if necessary to achieve levels as shown above.

SHOCK DOSE RATES:
Small Spa 1000 litres (220 Gallons) of water
– add 20g to increase chlorine level by 10mg/l(ppm) or 40g to increase chlorine level by 20mg/l(ppm) for spas.
Large Spa 1500 litres (330 Gallons) of water
– add 30g to increase chlorine level by 10mg/l(ppm) or 60g to increase chlorine level by 20mg/l(ppm) for spas.
