Description
HTH Stabiliser Free Chlorine Shock is a high-strength shock treatment for pools, supplied as a 4kg pack. The stabiliser-free, calcium hypochlorite-based formula delivers a fast, powerful chlorine dose without adding cyanuric acid (CYA) to the water.
A stabiliser-free shock treatment suits pools where cyanuric acid is already at the correct level, or where regular use of stabilised chlorine products risks CYA build-up. Steering clear of unnecessary stabiliser addition helps maintain water balance and prevents the drop in chlorine effectiveness that excess CYA can cause.
Suited to reactive shock treatment after periods of heavy use, algae outbreaks or cloudy water, and equally to planned weekly or fortnightly shock dosing as part of a routine maintenance schedule.
Main features:
- Stabiliser-free formula, suited to pools where CYA levels are already established
- Fast-acting calcium hypochlorite base delivers a rapid chlorine boost
- Kills bacteria, viruses, algae and chloramines
- Quickly restores water clarity after heavy use or poor weather
- Supplied as a 4kg pack, suited to domestic pools and regular maintenance dosing
- Suited to both residential and smaller commercial facilities
Always test pool water before and after shock dosing. Do not allow swimming until chlorine levels return to the recommended range of 1 to 3 ppm. Wear appropriate PPE when handling.
