Description

Introducing the Deep Blue Pro – Mini 20g STABILISED Chlorine Tablets 3kg SLOW RELEASE, the go-to solution for maintaining crystal-clear and bacteria-free water in your hot tub or swimming pool. These meticulously crafted chlorine tablets are designed to deliver unparalleled performance, ensuring your water is always safe and inviting.

Formulated to resist the degrading effects of sunlight, these stabilised chlorine tablets offer a slow-release mechanism that disperses chlorine gradually over 2-4 days, depending on water flow. This sustained release ensures a consistent level of chlorine in the water, effectively combating harmful bacteria and contaminants.

Whether you prefer using floating dispensers, chemical feeds, or skimmer baskets, these versatile tablets are compatible with various dosing methods, providing you with flexibility and convenience in water treatment.

For optimal results, maintain a free chlorine level of 3-5 mg/l (ppm) for hot tubs and 1-3 mg/l (ppm) for swimming pools. These long-lasting tablets have minimal impact on water pH, offering a stabilised chlorine solution that keeps your water chemistry in check.

The key features of these stabilised chlorine tablets include their ability to generate free active chlorine, which effectively eliminates bacteria and other harmful organisms. With a high concentration of available chlorine and stabiliser, these tablets ensure your water remains pristine and safe for enjoyment.

When applying these chlorine tablets, it is crucial to follow the recommended dosage instructions. Maintain the pH level within the ideal range of 7.2-7.6 and adjust as needed using pH plus or minus products for optimal balance. Keep free chlorine residuals within the specified range for hot tubs and swimming pools to guarantee effective sanitisation.

For floating dispensers, adjust the tablet quantity to achieve the desired chlorine level or regulate the dispenser’s aperture to control chlorine release. Similarly, for chlorine feeders and skimmer baskets, follow the provided instructions to maintain the required chlorine levels and ensure consistent water quality.

Periodic shock dosing is recommended to eliminate excess contamination, especially after heavy use or every fortnight. However, precautions should be taken to prevent chlorine build-up in skimmer baskets, and children must be kept away from potentially hazardous areas.

For accurate dosing, refer to the recommended dose rates based on water flow rate and temperature. Whether you have a medium or large hot tub or a swimming pool, these tablets offer precise dosage guidelines to maintain optimal chlorine levels for a refreshing and hygienic water environment.

With the Deep Blue Pro – Mini 20g STABILISED Chlorine Tablets 3kg SLOW RELEASE, you can trust in a reliable and efficient solution for water treatment. Say goodbye to water quality concerns and embrace a hassle-free maintenance routine with these high-performance chlorine tablets.

  32. Hannah Gleave (verified owner) –

I thought that the chlorine tabs are easy to use in a paddling pool and very effective. I just pop a crushed one in to shock the initial water then add a full tablet in a mini floater to keep the level even. Before using this method paddling pools were a bit of a nightmare and becoming a slimy mess every few days. Not to mention the risks of bacterial growth and larvae infesting the waters. This will keep the children safe with due care and diligence.

  33. S P Mead –

Easy to use with floating dispenser. Keep eye on dispenser as dissolves quite quickly if hot weather. I would not use this in pool without adding the dissolved grain type chlorine but good to know that pool always getting a trickle of chlorine between regular dosses.

  41. Frederique Lemieux (verified owner) –

    Great item

  42. Nida Kaiser –

This has made my life sooooooo much easier. I was getting a bit fed up sorting the chlorine everyday in the hot tubWell after a few days of trial and error, I now know I just need to have one hole half open, and one tablet in the dispenser, and this keeps my chlorine levels perfect. Now I only need to add a new tablet every 3 days, and it keeps the levels perfect, and this also makes it easier to keep the PH and Alkaline levels correct.Wish I’d bought this a few weeks ago, and saved myself the hassle. Oh well, live and learn. My only negative, and this is just being picky really, I’m not overly keen on the lid. Just need to double check it’s secure. But that’s it really. Overall its a solid 9/10 for me, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends.

I haven’t had to add any chlorine other than a few of these in the float. Chlorine is up middle of the ok range in an 18 ft diameter easyset pool. In previous years I have had to boost the chlorine with granuals every few weeks, but not with these tablets.

  87. Joan Itarte Rubi –

Last year got our 10ft pool with whole load of chemicals. Increase ph, decrease ph, chlorine etc… Still went green. Added this to the pool this year and so much easier! Chlorine levels seem to stabilise and other than algacide once in a while weve not had any issues. Admittedly, did change filter once more than last year, but Id say weve left it pretty much to its own devices and its been fine. Emptied last week (for winter) and still crystal clear! Last year and this pool left for a week and turned green last year, stayed clear this year.Definitely recommend and will get tablets again for next year.

I had purchased the spa kit and just couldn’t get the hang of granules and ph levels. So thought I would try the tablets. Much better and pop them in the floater I initially put 2 in to shock dose the layzspa then 1 each time it needed replaced. Water been in spa for 5 weeks now and still crystal clear have had 3 filter changes in this time.

I used this to clear green algae from our water feature, worked perfectly within 48 hours. 1 tablet was overkill with quite a strong smell but that has now cleared. Have bought a floating dispenser which appears to control the release.of the chemicals.

  199. Junlong Li (verified owner) –

They do a great job for chlorine levels in a hot tub, but I’m sure the ones we had last time helped with the clarity of the water.. These don’t seem to dk that, or if they do, not as well as the others. Still great value for money.

  207. muhammad yasir khan (verified owner) –

These tablets are essential for spa hygiene and I like that they come double wrapped i.e. Plastic bag inside the container.Arrived quickly and a great price.

  208. Jacob Watson (verified owner) –

Stayed levels stable all week without crumbling, label is clear

  209. John Giles –

Tried a cheaper version of these and found they blocked the valves on my lazy spa , making it alarm (E02). The cheap ones dissolve into lumps. This DOESN’T happen with this make.

  210. Kate Tulloch (verified owner) –

Perfect for small 2-3 meter diameter/ 60-80cm deep paddling pools. Suitable for sensitive/eczema prone skins if correct dosage is dispensed using a ph test test for an accurate guide once a week.

  211. Micaela Franceschi –

    Works as decribed

  212. Fabiola (verified owner) –

instructions are non existent! My instructions came from reading the reviews. Stick a tablet in by unscrewing the top and wait for it to disintegrate slowly. Works, because the tablet gets smaller and pool smells great. Not used the pH things because I stuck my arm in to see if it was irritated by the water, it wasn’t.Has bleached the bottom of my pool though. But it works. No scummy water, smells good, bugs don’t seem to care though, they still went for a swim.

  218. Alan L –

I want to start the review with the positive, the seller was very prompt at returning messages and offered either a return or a 20% refund. I couldn’t have asked for more from them as they are not the manufacturer! The product is not very good though, I bought this as recommended by lay z spa but once we put the tablets into the provided chemical dispenser and left overnight we woke up to find it had bleached our brand new hot tub. Not happy at all! The chlorine levels were at a safe level so I have no idea how this has happened. I have read this has happened to a few people, I am going to try a floating dispenser to see if that works better. I’m trying to contact the manufacturer to complain but so far no response from them.

  219. Quami –

So glad I brought this along side pool. The before pic was after my children playing in it all day so has become cloudy the After pic is the next morning after the chlorine float being in all night. I do not have a filter on the pool I just use a net to get all the bits out the water in the after pic is 4 days old and still going strong. Definitely recommend the float

  220. Yadira S. –

This is an amazing product 5⭐️

  221. John Simpson –

Works well with 2 tablets for a 6ft DeepBlue easy up pool. I would suggest getting a filter pump as combined really does keep the water clear.

  249. Lagamba72 (verified owner) –

Do the job I bought them for, and they do it well. Just pop a couple in your floater and they dissolve over a few days. Weve got a Lazyspa Miami and I tend to alternate between 2 tablets in the floater then next time 1, and it keeps everything at the right levels. Weve not had to change the water in 6 weeks with pretty heavy use and all the levels are still spot on.

DO NOT use these on hot tubs, they are far too strong and emit too much gas – so much so that the gas has destroyed my hot tub cover and it is going to cost £80 to replace! You also can’t get straight into the tub as the gas being emitted is overcoming, need to have the tub running for 10 minutes without the cover on to let the gas disperse.

The only bad thing about these are that they do not dissolve in normal water at all, so if you want to get to them to dissolve you may have to boil water. Other than that they are quite useful.

I usually buy a named brand, and being new to pool ownership I was reticent to change brand, however the other reviews of this product and the fact that i had used the same suppliers shock granules gave me the confidence to try these. Although these are probably 99.9% the same as the more expensive versions available I think these are slightly better (although that might just be the smugness talking as these saved me quite a lot of money). Highly Recommended.

  385. Kundetiger93 –

My wife and her mum both suffer from a complex skin shedding problem due to a rare genetic problem and dietary binges. This makes the hot tub water become cloudy. I have tried many many chlorine tablets but to no effect and the tub water was really cloudy. Your tablets are simply the best. They have solved the problem of murky cloudy water. The water is so clear now that I can see everything including their varicose veins.

  386. T. K. Elliott –

    Easy to use

  387. Mick Rayner –

    Didn’t work

  388. Giles Croft –

Great that it comes with a dispenser, saved me a fiver so thanks for that.Stand back and don’t breathe when you’re prising the lid off, the chlorine smacks you in the face.Really well packaged and arrived quickly. Top marks.

  389. Jaclyn Smith (verified owner) –

Seems to work on a very slow release method, as with the other reviewer the tablet is there the next morning, which brings me onto the big problem with this product. You get no instructions. Given you are dealing with Chlorine, most likely in a pool that kids will be playing in, having some sort of guide as to how much to use, what to expect etc would be nice. My guard was up immediately when the chlorine tablets arrived in a resealable plastic bag the likes of which you pick up in a supermarket. I would consider buying one of the more expensive models if im honest.

  390. Roy DLG –

    Very happy with purchase
