Description
This listing covers the 1Kg size.
Widely relied on to keep hot tub and swimming pool water safe and free of bacteria, these chlorine tablets are stabilised against chlorine loss from sunlight and release their chlorine gradually over 2-4 days, depending on how much water flows past them.nnnnUse them in floating dispensers, chemical feeders or skimmer baskets, whichever suits your setup.nnnnDose regularly to keep free chlorine at the recommended 3-5 mg/l (ppm) in hot tubs or 1-3 mg/l (ppm) in swimming pools. Slow release and long lasting, these tablets have as little effect on water pH as you’ll find in a stabilised chlorine tablet.nnnnKey FeaturesnnnnIt’s best to keep a free chlorine range of 3 – 5mg/l for hot tubs and 1-3mg/l for swimming pools. These stabilised tablets are well suited to regular dosing of your hot tub or swimming pool, generating free active chlorine that kills bacteria and other potentially harmful organisms, with a high level of both available chlorine and chlorine stabiliser.nnnnApplication Instructionsnnnn1. Maintain pH level within the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6. If outside this range please use our PH plus or PH minus products to adjust for the best results.nnnn2. Maintain free chlorine residuals for hot tubs between 3-5mg/l and for swimming pools between 1 – 3mg/l (ppm). Freshly filled hot tubs require an initial shock or start up dose of chlorine: 50mg/l (ppm) for 1 hour or 20mg/l (ppm) for 2 hours.nnnn3. For floating dispenser: Fill the floating dispenser with tablets and adjust the aperture mechanism at the bottom of the dispenser to obtain the 3-5mg/l (ppm) desired range. Alternatively keep the dispenser aperture constant and vary the tablets inside to achieve 3-5mg/l (ppm). The dispenser should be removed from the hot tub whilst bathing.nnnn4. For chlorine feeders: Fill the dispenser and follow feeder instruction manuals on flow regulation to maintain required chlorine levels.nnnn5. For skimmer baskets: Fill the basket with sufficient tablets and monitor levels to maintain required chlorine levels.nnnn6. It is recommended that you periodically (e.g. fortnightly or after heavy use) shock dose your pool to eliminate any excess contamination.nnnnNote: If using in skimmer baskets we would suggest you run the pump often to prevent a build up of chlorine. Please ensure children to not have access to the skimmer as this could be dangerous.nnnnDose Rates (subject to water flow rate and temperature)nnnnMedium hot tub 1,000 litre (220 Gallons) of water requires approx 1 tablet to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm) or 3 tablets to increase chlorine level by 3mg/l(ppm)nnnnLarge hot tub 1,500 litre (330 Gallons) of water requires approx 2 tablets to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm) or 6 tablets to increase chlorine level by 3mg/l(ppm)nnnnSwimming pools add 1 tablet per 4,500 litres (1000 Gallons) of water and monitor levels.

I bought this for my 8 foot pool in the summer. I got 10 tablets, the dispenser and some test stripes. The dispenser is really easy to use and can be adjusted depending on how much chlorine is needed in the pool. I changed the tablets roughly every 8 to 10 days by which time they had dissolved. Tablets and dispenser worked really well and kept my pool clean all summer My son used the pool all the time and said that he didnt realise that there was chlorine in the pool which was good. Only downside is the test stripes. I used them once and didnt like them so I threw them away.

Bought to revive my hot tub after not using it for the past few weeks after running out of chlorine granules (filter left running). These multi function tablets brought my hot tub water back to life after going slightly green and having a bit of a bad smell! After leaving the tablets to get to work in the floater for a few days we enjoyed the hot tub once again (and in minus temperatures)! I can see these tablets will last sometime and they are also much easier to use than granules as you pop a couple into the floater and leave it to work it’s magic rather than adding the chlorine once a day along with any other chemicals you need. I shall definitely consider purchasing these again when I run out of them.

I received this product ahead of the scheduled delivery day which I was very happy about. However before purchasing these you should read the description and not rely on the photo as you will only be supplied 10 test strips not the 50 pictured. I contacted the seller about this but they failed to acknowledge that it was wrong to list this product with the wrong photo.I cant yet comment on how well it works but my hope is it will maintain the chlorine levels in my hot tub better. The actual dispenser and tablets seem fine, I have set it up on a low setting and will monitor the water balance.I would rate this higher but I hate false advertisement.
Andrew, London (verified owner) –
Some things are simple. You take off the top, drop in a chlorine tablet, put the top back on and throw it in the pool. Nothing to get excited about, but it’s what it says it is!

I wish I had bought one of these from the start. Much easier than dosing using chlorine granules. Good for periods when the tub isn’t being used. Has inflow limited to control (roughly) how quickly the chlorine tablets take to dissolve.

Shahram (verified owner) –
Have no problem with here products use them regularly the only thing is with the chlorine granules is having to work out how many grams to use per 1000 litres as it says on the label 20mg/l ppm had to use a calculator 🤪 why don’t they just put down when you first fill the tub up how many grams would help people whose just bought a tub for the first time ðŸ‘

After researching this item online, asking about on here I finally decided to buy it. The water colour is (transparent) is coming back. The pic attached is day one post using a water shocker (In addition) the day before. I ran my filter pump for 8 hrs each day to help.I recommend using this item for above ground pools (Intex / Bestway) as it works.I’ll be checking the pool in a bit to see the effects 48hrs later.

Arrived very promptly before estimated date. Put dispenser in pool in the evening with a tablet inside and chlorinated water overnight. Comes with 10 tablets which will last over summer weeks using one a week. This was a bonus as tablets are quite expensive. Also comes with testing strips which is handy. Good value for money. Saves having to empty water and refill pool every time you want to use. Would recommend both product and seller.

I received this product ahead of the scheduled delivery day which I was very happy about. However before purchasing these you should read the description and not rely on the photo as you will only be supplied 10 test strips not the 50 pictured. I contacted the seller about this but they failed to acknowledge that it was wrong to list this product with the wrong photo.I can’t yet comment on how well it works but my hope is it will maintain the chlorine levels in my hot tub better. The actual dispenser and tablets seem fine, I have set it up on a low setting and will monitor the water balance.I would rate this higher but I hate false advertisement.

Using these in a hot tub it has been some whilesince I last made a purchase havlng used bromine previously due to a previous economial large tub purchase. Ok, glad to be back with chlorine and this product was well packed, with a hard to open lid that would have deterred the most determinedchild and possibly most adults the lid was finally removed. No loose tablets here they were contained within a sealed bag inside the plastic tub. Now nI’m not sure if this was an additional level of security or just another measure to keep the product fresh but once the bag was open the strong pungent smell of chlorine was unavoidable. This product was so fresh it was unbelievable and when added to my hot tub in the measured amount the differenc was undeniable, once again the water smelt and felt fresh and a feeling of protection and germ killing was once more evidend. So much better than bromine, much more control able and the water appears brighter, with the particular freshnessof this seller I beleive this is possibly chlorine a its best. Fantastic fresh product, cation should be taken when using this product not to inhale fumes, keep in a dry environment and never handle this product without gloves outside and not in enclosed space. Treat this product as you would bleach or any othrer dangerous product and keep away from children.

K. Clarkson (verified owner) –
Something so simple and cheap saved me a summer time of constantly changing the water in our 10ft pool. It stopped the water turning green, you know like it does when it’s been just sitting in the pool for a few days. I would recommend this to anybody who has a large paddling pool.
Colin Cavanagh –
ok
Meep (verified owner) –
Using these for my Lay-z-spa within the floating dispenser and they seem to be working fine to maintain the Chlorine/PH levels. The water did become cloudy though at one stage and these weren’t getting rid of the issue on their own so i had to buy extra clarifier sachets and after 2 doses they cleared the water fine within about 24 hours. These mini-tablets now seem to be stabilising the water clarity and ph levels properly since then though.

Bought these to use in an 8ft paddling pool. Started with one tablet in dispenser (being a little cautious not to put too much in) – after 1 week the water was a little cloudy and there were a couple of masses of mosquito larvae : / Refilled pool and put in 1.5 tablets, keeping it topped up to this level – 3 weeks later the pool is crystal clear and no sign of any larvae. Very happy with this product : )

The tablets last well too- I didnt use or maintain my tub for about 9 days and when I went to check the levels etc, there was still a bit of the tablet left in the floater and the levels were fine!

The dispenser is fine but the picture shows a tub of 50 test strips. What you actually get is a little silver foil pack of 10. The only reason I bought this was because of the test strips as we were running out. The item is available on here with double the chlorine tablets for the same price without the test strips from alternative sellers so shop around!

***update. These tablets made our pool so cloudy and it had white bits floating in the water. We drained the pool without realising these were the problem. We just refilled our pool and it was perfect until we started using these again! Same problem. Won’t buy again.***I have given this product 3 stars because in the last few days the pool water has gone from crystal clear and perfectly balanced to “sticky” and slightly less clear (I wouldn’t call it cloudy at all). This would indicate a high Ph but testing says it’s around 7.2-7.4 which is perfect. I’m stumped and can only put it down to the introduction of these tablets.

So glad I brought this along side pool. The before pic was after my children playing in it all day so has become cloudy the After pic is the next morning after the chlorine float being in all night. I do not have a filter on the pool I just use a net to get all the bits out the water in the after pic is 4 days old and still going strong. Definitely recommend the float
